California Shooting Suspect Once Lived in Falls Church, Virginia

One L. Goh, the suspect in a shooting at Oikos University in Oakland, California once lived here in Fairfax County. Public Records unearthed by the Fairfax Times indicate he may still have family in the area. Goh was charged last week with seven counts of murder and three counts of attempted murder.  If convicted, he potentially faces the death penalty.

While the motive for Goh’s alleged shooting spree is unclear, it is know that was had been a student at Oikos University and was upset about not receiving a full refund for nursing classes he had registered for.

According to police, Goh was seeking a specific administrator who is no longer with the university. Not able to find the person in question, Goh proceeded to a classroom, forced the students to line up against the wall and began firing.

Prosecutors state that Goh reloaded at least once and was carrying multiple magazines.
