Jill Hutchens earned her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from James Madison University and her J.D. with honors from the University of Richmond School of Law. During law school, she served on the Senior Editorial Board of the Richmond Journal of Law and Technology, participated in the Juvenile Delinquency Clinic at the Children’s Law Center, and studied abroad at Cambridge University in England.
Ms. Hutchens brings to The Gordon Law Firm a wide variety of experience including working at the Richmond criminal defense firm of Riley and Wells, serving as an intern for Federal Magistrate Dennis Dohnal of the Eastern District of Virginia, and interning for the Henrico County Commonwealth Attorney’s office.
Ms. Hutchens is a member of the Fairfax Bar Association, the American Bar Association, and the Virginia State Bar. She has also interned on Capitol Hill and worked for the Virginia General Assembly. Jill is fluent in French.

Alex Gordon has more than fourteen years of trial experience, serving as both an Assistant County Attorney in Florida and as a Senior Assistant Public Defender in Fairfax, Virginia.
During his career he has represented more than 2,500 clients charged with serious felonies and misdemeanors in Northern Virginia. Alex is a member of the Virginia Bar and the State Bars of Florida and Georgia. He is a member of the Fairfax Bar Association, the American Bar Association, and the National Association of Criminal Defense Attorneys.
Mr. Gordon earned a Bachelor of Science from James Madison University in 1991 and graduated from the University of Georgia School of Law in 1994.
